The Loden Hotel is a prestigious boutique hotel located in the heart of Vancouver's Coal Harbour. Steps from Downtown, this award-winning hotel services clientele from all over the world and has recognized as one of the best hotels in Canada by Condé Nast Traveller, TripAdvisor, Travel + Leisure Magazine, and U.S. News.
Marketing and Strategy
The Loden was a client whom I worked alongside to breathe new life into the brand. The Loden, whose doors first opened in 2008, is a stunning space that echoes warmth, comfort, and elegance. We wanted the marketing to reflect that.
Working together with the General Manager of the hotel, we completed thorough industry research, competitive profiles, and created multiple strategies to generate revenue for the hotel through e-blast campaigns, social media, and Google advertising.

An award-winning boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver is every designer's dream client. This was the perfect opportunity to reinvent a tired grid that hadn't been updated since 2014 and show the world the new face of the Loden Hotel.
After renovations in early 2022, we were prepared to bolster the Loden's online presence through a social media overhaul. The timing was perfect for a digital refresh using elegant, editorial photography supplied by Kyoko Fierro Photography.

Maxine's is a charming locale that opened its doors in Spring 2021. From morning favourites to later-day delights, it has since become West End Vancouver's premier neighbourhood café and bar.

Wentworth Hospitality approached me to design and develop a brand new website for it's newest restaurant, Maxine's, shortly before it's Grand Opening. In response to changing needs from the pandemic, they needed a mobile-friendly site with leads to Bookenda for reservations as well as takeout and delivery services.
Working with art direction from award-winning Vancouver agency Glasford & Walker, I built this site from the ground up, starting with UX wireframes, UI mockups, and then the development of the site itself using Wix.
Social Media and Art Direction
I started the Maxine's Facebook and Instagram pages from scratch. We quickly amassed a following of over 4500 (and growing) within the first year. Working with editorial food photographer Kyoko Fierro, I provided art direction for the restaurant as well the food in order to create an immaculate content grid featuring the best Maxine's had to offer. I also planned and managed paid ads on social media, Google ads, email marketing, and Later.

French bistro meets local cool – Tableau Bar Bistro, the award winning neigbourhood Bistro is located in the heart of Coal Harbour. Tableau offers delicious classic French fare, with a West Coast influence.

The challenge was to rebuild and rebrand Tableau Bar Bistro, whose outdated Wordpress website no longer fit the needs of a digitally dependant world. The goal was to create a mobile-friendly site with a simple user interface for customers to find menus, reserve tables, and order takeout/delivery online.
I built this site from scratch, starting with UX wireframes, UI mockups, and then the development of the site itself using Wix.
Social Media and Art Direction
Tableau Bar Bistro had a respectable, but conservative following, but it lacked a strong visual presence online. The outdated photography and dim atmosphere did not do this gorgeous European-inspired bistro justice.
We hired food photographer Leila Kwok to give life to the restaurant, which had recently undergone renovation in 2020. We wanted to showcase the French-inspired menu created by Executive Chef Bobby Milheron through her unique aesthetic. The social media feeds were scrapped and refreshed with a brand new grid, significantly growing our following and website traffic.
